Anniversaries

The dates Workers Press and The Newsletter marked: a hundred years since the Paris Commune, thirty since Trotsky's murder, fifty since the founding of the Communist Party, the first anniversary of Bloody Sunday. They are gathered here by the last digit of the year in which the event happened, because that is the digit its round anniversaries fall on: the Paris Commune, 1871, comes round again in 2031.

Only articles that mark a date are listed, not those that mention one in passing. The year is worked out from the interval the article names and checked; where the article gets it wrong, the note says so.
