Heath and his gang have been exposed as being rotten to the core and politically demoralized. They are being kept in office only by the craven collaboration of the Labourites, led by Harold Wilson, and the TUC leaders The Lambton and Jellicoe affair is not the isolated strike. It was this formula that was used ten years ago to whitewash the Profumo affair. Lord Denning, the Master of the Rolls, was brought onto the scene following a private deal between Wilson and Harold Macmillan that the Labour Party would not press embarrassing questions against the Tories for the sake of 'national security'.

rescue ROYSTON HAROLD WILSON, Labour eader, yester day came the rescue of Heath government over Lambton-Jellicoe scandal.
Wilson said he would be glad to enter into immediate consultations with premier Heath to set up an investigation by the top secret Security Commission.
The Opposition leader was replying to Heath's statement that there was no other minister or any member of the public ervices involved, apart from Cabinet minister Earl ellicoe and RAF minister Lord Lambton.
Wilson said: 'All of us recognize how deeply painful it has been for you to make this statement. It is not for us to discuss the background of their resignations' Having assured the Tories he did not want to probe the mightily suspicious scandal any further, Wilson went on to praise the two discredited • peers.
'It is right to note the speed and the sense of responsibility that Ministers showed in immediately resigning and doing so with dignity:
As he spoke, Wilson's speech was punctuated with murmurs of 'Hear, Hear' from both sides of the chamber.
Labour MP for York, Alexander Lyon, went so far as to 'congratulate' Heath for 'avoiding a public inquiry.
He claimed the electors had no right to know anything about the private lives of MPs where it did not effect their public duty.
EARLIER there were whistles and groans from Labour MPs when Mr Terence Higgins, Financial Secretary, said the pound was worth 79p last month compared with 100p at the time of the 1970 General Election.
In other words, the purchasing power of the pound has dropped 2lp (4/2d old money) since Heath's election.
Mr Gerald Kaufman. Labour MP for Ardwick, said: "That will come as a bombshell to millions of families frantically struggling to make ends meet. As far as they are concerned, the only thing going "boom" is their cost of living.' FUND Derby £1; Southall rkenhead £14.
